Ukrainian - Latvian Psychological Support Network consists of specially trained Ukrainian speaking phone operators, for whom we provide support and supervision. Moreover anyone can join the Network in the capacity of mentor becoming a support person for a family that is coming to Latvia or is already here.
Ukrainian speaking psychology students are trained to use crisis intervention methodology and in cooperation with BITE we provide a crisis helpline, as well as interaction through telegram, voice messages and Whatsapp. This would not be possible without the initial support that we have received from RISEBA University and Ideaport Riga.
Or you can leave a message on this website and we will get in touch with you at a convenient time.

By donating to support Ukrainian students in crisis not only you will allow our phone operators to continue working but also you will get a partial tax refund as we provide scholarships in cooperation with RTU Development fund.
Your donation will go directly to a Ukrainian student, who then in their turn support others in this project.
The support team consists of well known Latvian psychologists, coaches and supervisors: Aija Brūvere, Kristīne Balode, Inese Ruka, Valērijs Dombrovskis, Lūcija Rutka, Jeva Karabeško un Ance Saulīte.
However the actual team that works on crisis hotline and provides psychological help and practical advice consists of Ukrainian speaking psychology students, who we have trained to use crisis intervention methodology and for whom we provide regular supervision and support.
In the future we plan to run supervision groups for volunteers and supporters who are involved with the refugees.
